On July 16, 2017, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls, reporting shots fired outside of Boot Scooters, located at 421 Broadway. Upon arrival, officers found Timothy Martin, age 37, deceased inside a 2007 Infinity G35.
On 8-15-17, Kirkland Eugene Litzsey, age 30, of Malvern, Arkansas was arrested for the murder of Timothy Martin. Kirkland Litzey was arrested in Little Rock, Arkansas by U.S. Marshalls and U.S. Probation and Parole. Kirkland Litzsey has been booked into the Garland County Detention Center for First Degree Murder without bond.
