Miranda Lambert recently visited Tractor Supply in Franklin, Tennessee to go on a shopping spree for shelter pets, where Lambert purchased thousands of dollars of food, toys and supplies for local shelters (Tractor Supply is the exclusive retailer for Lambert‘s MuttNation pet line and pet foods).  You check out the video HERE.

Lambert then made surprise stops at Williamson County Animal Center, Metro Nashville Animal Care & Control and Nashville Humane Association to deliver the goods. Said Lambert: “This time of year, it’s so important to remember shelter animals everywhere. These three shelters have been important local partners to MuttNation over the past several years, and we all know how tough it’s been for them. I just wanted show my appreciation.”  Tractor Supply Company then surprised Miranda and MuttNation by giving $1,000 gift cards to 10 shelters and rescues that help senior pets and/or pets with special needs.

Lambert founded the MuttNation Foundation with her mom, Bev Lambert, in 2009. MuttNation is a donation-supported 501c(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote the adoption of shelter pets, advance spay & neuter and educate the public about the benefits of these actions. MuttNation also works with transport partners to assist and relocate animals during times of natural disaster.  You can learn more about the organization – HERE.
